I hope the OP is able to follow my links and find the right solution for him, I hate when people ignore useful comments and keep asking the same thing over and over again. And get a compatible and play Wii games with shorter loading times and a nice. That said, I would recommend the OP to follow the mighty guide and softmod his Wii to perfection which should take care of all his immediate needs. Also WAD files have nothing to do with retail discs, like you said is only for WW and WC if he is interested. Modchips might be outdated, but I still find it useful to be able to boot burned disc ( there was a time when some dual layer discs weren't compatible with softmods, and being able to burn them gave me the chance to play them flawlessly before the others ), and also if his Wii has GC support, a modchip would allow to boot and play backups of GC games without any audio streaming issues and with perfect compatibility/speed.
